Welcome Paula and new targets...

08 Nov 2017

I just wanted to let you know( although I'm sure he children have told you already) that we have a Spanish teacher based in Year 4 for the next 3 months. Her name is Paula(pronounced Powla). We will be having weekly Spanish lessons and the children will also benefit from her support in the classroom. Obviously Spain was our choice for International day and we will be learning more about where Paula lives tomorrow!  She has also made tortillas for the children to try!  Thankyou Paula for doing this!  She will also be teaching the children more about Valencia where she comes from and the surrounding area, giving them  a Spanish lesson, teaching them a Spanish game and lots more... We will take photos and share these with you very soon.

Targets: By the end of this week your child will have reading, writing and Maths targets for this term stuck in their homework diaries. Please read them with your child and ensure your they know what they need to focus on this term at home and school. This focus will enable them to make the best progress they can. Could you also ensure that you sign the diary when reading with your child so books can be changed.Thanks.
