As part of our Geography topic on our Local Area,
5HS wrote speeches to persuade
Tourists to visit Highams Park.

3rd place were: Xanthe, Zahra and Katie in Speech #3.
Their speech had a good introduction and all-round useful information on the area, including helpful hints.

2nd place were: William, Vinnie and Ethan in Speech #7
Their speech had a good introduction and conclusion. They described the ambience of the lake and wildlife, and included a wealth of ideas of things to do in the area.

1st place were: Daniel, Henry and Fionn in Speech # 4
Their speech was very inclusive, offering lots of information on local events for people of all ages.
We especially liked the signing.
