Lakes and Snakes with Year 5!

Year 5 had a great trip out on Friday morning.
30 children from 5HS and 5KC went for a History walk
around Highams Park to learn what has changed
in our Local Area over the years
from Anglo-Saxon times to the present.

After the walk, we visited Highams Park Lake,
where we saw a Coot family with their young.

We then had a play on the equipment and it was great fun!

In the afternoon we were in for a fantastic treat.
Skye and her dad brought in two of their snakes from home.
They told us all about the snakes, their likes and dislikes and how to look after them.
We actually got to hold the snakes, too! How brave are we!
