Year 1 - Mr Hussain Home

Dear Parents and Carers,

We wanted to inform you about an exciting event planned for Year 1, part of our Magnificent 7 experiences.

Magnificent 7 is our promise to provide each child with seven memorable experiences at Handsworth.
As well as providing children with an excellent foundation in their academic pursuits, we also see our role as widening children’s horizons whilst instilling awe and wonder. We want the seven experiences to be things they remember and hopefully inspire them to try new, challenging or adventurous things.

This year, Year 1 pupils will have THE ULTIMATE VIP FULL FARM EXTRAVAGANZA! on Thursday 9th May 9 am -11 am.

The company is going to visit us at school.  They are going to bring the following animals for handling, feeding, grooming, and walking.
Animals include: Sheep, Goat, Chicken/chicks, Duck/ducklings, Turkey, Rabbit, Hamster, Guinea Pig, African Pygmy Hedgehog, Horsefield Tortoise, Royal Python, Corn Snake, Crested Gecko, Leopard Gecko, White Tree Frog, Bearded Dragon, Fire Salamander, Scorpion, Tarantula, Curly Haired Spider, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Domino Cockroaches, Giant Millipedes and Giant Land Snails. 

*Please inform the class teacher of any allergies or phobias by Tuesday 7th, May.
