Maths and English

02 Nov 2015

In Maths we have looking at 2D shapes and their properties. We used a Venn diagram to sort the shapes.

We also did lots of doubling using our fingers to help us count!

Doubling 5

In English we studied the book 'The Pumpkin Soup' so we decided to make our own soup!!

We all waited patiently for our helpers to serve the soup.

Wonderful Grace helped serve the Bread to everyone.

Our wonderful helpers!

Some of us did not like soup!

Yum Yum!!

I liked doing the shape activity since I love shapes, dodecahedrons are my favourite because I love shapes with lots of sides. I didn't like the pumpkin soup on it's own but i liked it with the bread. Maybe next time we could make butternut squash soup? Cliodhna 1SN
