Part-time NJC (Outer London)
22 hours per week x 45.6 weeks, Monday to Thursday 8.15am – 2.00 pm, term time
(Some contractual holiday work required)
Salary Scale 3, point 5 - 6, £11,538 actual pro rata
 
We are looking to recruit a friendly and highly committed Receptionist/Admin Assistant for our popular, multicultural school.

Candidates will have excellent face to face and telephone based communication skills, a high degree of professionalism and a positive approach to problem solving.
The postholder will:
  • Provide general receptionist and clerical duties for the administration of the school, assistance to the Headteacher and Office Manager and undertake a range of duties under their direction.
  • Have some areas of finance responsibility including reconciliation of online school dinner money and school trips
  • Provide first aid care for pupils
  • Provide an efficient and friendly service to pupils, parents, colleagues and other school stakeholders
Successful candidates will have:
  • excellent customer care and communication skills
  • good administrative and IT skills
  • the ability to work positively with a variety of people
  • an understanding of how to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • the ability to work under pressure
