Art - Quentin Blake

In Art we had a look at Quentin Blake’s illustrations. He is famous for illustrating Roald Dahl’s story books.
We learnt that he used a special waterproof ink to draw his illustrations.
Once the ink was dry he added the water colours.
His illustrations are always very detailed.

We drew our own characters based on Quintin Blake’s illustrations.

These drawings are really great- it is nice to see the children focusing on being creative and using their imagination. Deen said he really enjoyed this session!

You are all amazing artists 3MJ! I love your drawings and think Quentin Blake shout see them too because he would be very impressed. I also enjoyed visiting your classroom and seeing your Twits artwork, too.
