Welcome back to the start of a new academic year, we hope you had a great summer.

As well as getting to know the children this week, we will also be focussing on the children's reading in order to make sure their home reading book levels are up to date.

The children will soon be given spellings and maths homework to take home with them on a Friday.

The spelling test will be on a Friday. Maths homework should be handed by the following Wednesday at the latest .

You will be informed as to when the first set of homework will be given out.

P.E. days are on Wednesday and Friday; please make sure your child has a clearly labelled P.E kit.

We look forward to a busy yet fun year ahead!
