World Cup learning

We used the World Cup to learn about many different countries across the world and link it to our Geography topic as well as anything else we could link it to! Each child, myself and Mrs McDermott had a country to represent that participated in the World Cup and had to research for a presentation, displaying as much information as possible about the country.
Jamine represented Germany and so was presented with the 3RT World Cup by a gracious Amie who represented runners up Argentina.
A big well done to everyone who has completed and shown their presentation, they have all been outstanding and unique. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about all the different countries and have certainly found out things that I did not know before.
