Information on target sheets sent home last term

I just wanted to recap on target sheets I have sent home this term as I know a few people have been asking about them.
You should have received:

A target sheet at the appropriate level for your child for ‘number’ and ‘writing’.

A score sheet from a levelled writing assessment done towards the beginning of term(indicating with a 1 or a 0 if they achieved the given target).(This was at the front of your ‘story writing homework project’ and is for you to keep. I will give them back to children who handed them in with their project.)
Our purpose for sending this information home is to show you the ways you can help your child at home which I know you are all keen to do.
I will continue to keep you informed about assessments we are doing at school and the ways you can work with Miss Bryan and I to move your child’s learning on.
Our next informal assessment will be in the first couple of weeks of next term when we will be doing another reading assessment. Following this we will be able to send home an up-to date target sheet for reading at the correct level for your child.
