Morning 1MJ. Hope you had an amazing weekend. Hope you were lucky enough to play in the show yesterday. How privileged are we to have such a variety of weather in London, rain, sunshine and snow in one week? Such fun. You can share your thoughts about what you’ve seen yesterday, when you looked through the window, in the comments below. Words, phrases and even short poems are all welcome.

Children/Parents and Carers: Thank you for all the hard work that you’ve done so far this term. I’ve put together some of the amazing work that you’ve done. Hope you’ll enjoy it and that it will give you inspiration to work even harder this week. Your lovely work did put a smile on my face on more that one occasion. My smile is now so big I had to hook it behind my ears.

I will be in contact with you all this week; I will let you know the where and when by the end of the day. We will have our whole class zoom session on Friday afternoon. You must all have a Marvellous Monday and I can not wait to see what super work you’re going to show me today! Virtual hugs from Miss Jordaan

Hi Miss Jordaan. The snow fell really heavily so we were able to make a snowman. We also had a snowball fight and Daddy threw a snowball which got tangled up in my hair. Our snowman is still here but all the rest of the snow has gone. Love, Evie xx

Morning Evie. How exciting! A snowman and a snowball fight. Sounds like a lot of fun. Luckily if you leave the 'snowball' in you hair for long enough it will just melt so you don't have to worry about brushing it out after being tangled up in your hair. It would be interesting to see how long it takes for the snowman to melt with today's sunny weather and tomorrow's rainy weather. Let me know how the snowman is getting on... Have fun today! Hello Miss Jordaan and all of 1MJ. Wasn't the snow so beautiful yesterday? I couldn't believe how much fell, so I went outside and took lots of photos but didn't stay for long as it was FREEZING cold! Wrap up warm if you are going out for some exercise. Lots of love, Miss Grant x

Morning Miss Grant. Hope you've warmed up nicely after being outside in the freezing cold yesterday. We would love to see your snow photos. When we do our zoom meeting on Friday you can do your snow-photo-show-and-tell. I can't wait to see the photos. Have fun today. Miss Jordaan

Hi Miss Jordaan! I saw the snow from my window yesterday, so I put on my boots and I threw lots of snowballs. My hands were freezing afterwards. I miss you loads and hope you are feeling better now. I am looking forward to seeing you on Zoom! I am working very hard, and hope my work is ok for you. Lots of love from GG (Georgia) xxxxx

Hello Ivy. I'm glad you were able to have snowball fights with mummy. Did you have so much fun with the snowball fight that you've used up all the snow...hence the smallest snowman ever? I hope you took a photo because by now the smallest snowman ever must have melted in the rain and sunshine. Keep up with the hard work that you are doing. I can't wait to see your work today. Hello Georgia. I would have done exactly the same if I saw the snow through the window...boots on...let's go. Did you aim at something/somebody specific when you threw the snow balls? Sounds like you had lots of fun outside.

Georgia, what did you do to warm up your hands inside again? I heard once that if you wear plastic gloves over your woolly gloves, your woolly gloves don't get wet and your hands don't get that cold...Can't wait for the next snow to fall to try that out. Keep up with all the lovely work that you are doing. I can't wait to see today's work. Miss Jordaan

Elodie, what an amazing idea to build a snow baby and a snow dog. Hope you took photos to share with us. Have you ever made a snow angel before? Ask mummy to explain how that's done. I love your snow song. Did you make up your own melody too or did you use a melody that we all know? I made up my own to fit in with your words. Keep up with all the lovely work that you are doing. Looking forward to seeing your work today. Miss Jordaan

I love your messages Ms Jordaan! We did take pictures and today the snow baby's hat, scarf and carrot nose were all frozen! I made snow angels in Austria when there was lots of snow but not yesterday. I made up my own melody for the song! I can't wait to hear your one. Love Elodie xxxxxxxx

Hello Miss Jordaan. I loved watching the snow fall yesterday. I made a tall snowman with three body parts, sprouts for eyes, an orange carrot for the nose and black raisins for the mouth. It had red tomatoes for the buttons, Mummy's yellow scarf and warm gloves and my fluffy hat. I threw loads of snowballs at Mummy and Phoebe. It was freezing cold. Did you make a snowman? I miss you! Love Robin

Hello Robin. It looks like you had more than fun with that snowman of yours. Did you leave all the food outside in the cold last night? Did the squirrels take the carrot? Your snowman is very lucky to have had so much warm fluffy clothing to keep him warm. Were mummy and Phoebe able to hit you with some of the snowballs too? I did not build a snowman but I saw that my neighbours did. I'll talk to you soon. Miss Jordaan
