Picasso's Guernica

To link Picasso's 'Parade'
with our Creative Curriculum topic,
'Peace Not War'
we collaborated to make a copy of
Picasso's 'Guernica'.
Picasso made this artwork in response to a bombing raid in 1937
during the Spanish Civil War.
The painting shows the tragedies of war and the suffering it inflicts upon individuals, particularly innocent civilians.
We were impressed with our efforts to recreate the masterpiece.
