Construction Mathematics

02 Jul 2019

Over the last fortnight, 5LN has embraced the wonderful weather we are having by doing outdoor learning.
We have completed numerous lessons outside and enjoyed not only the sunshine and fresh air but also the change of scenery.

Today (Tuesday 2nd July) in Maths we did something a little different. We didn’t complete questions out of our textbooks but rather questions that were drawn on the ground in the form of a construction site! We entered the construction site and had 12 stations that we had to complete. The aim was to figure out the area or perimeter of each shape at each station.
