Homework over Easter in 4EL

02 Apr 2014

All children will have a literacy task to complete. The children have written instructions for this  they wrote out themselves. Children in my maths set have maths homework. The other set  will leave this till next term. The deadline for India projects is Friday. I've had a few questions about these. Just to confirm, I would like a written project handed in which I can mark, but it can be in any form:typed booklet, handwritten, poster with photos and captions etc. If children would like to ,they will have the opportunity to give a short presentation on part of their project( just 2 mins in length-a snap shot) if they would like to at the beginning of next term, so you can hand in a memory stick too/children can simply read their favourite part out to the class. However, this isn't compulsory! I have given extra homework to those parents who requested it at parents' evening. However if I forgot anyone please let me know...It got very rushed  this week! If anyone else would like any of this extra work please let me know. An optional extra for the holiday is  on Purple Mash.  The login icon is now on this home page.As an introduction to our next history topic children could have a go at some of the 'Roman' activities. They look really fun and cover a range of subject areas. If possible I would love the children to save their work so I can see it. However if not clear of how to do this, letting them try the activities would be fine. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if you were/weren't able to save it. Thanks!  Have a great holiday!smiley
