It was really lovely to see the all the children so engaged with the stories, asking great questions and for impressing Saviour with their enthusiasm for the Firebird story and all the lovely work they have produced. Well done Year 4.

PS Huge thanks to Mrs Green and Mrs Buckley for having the idea in the first place and for organising such a lovely day.

A wonderful day! Mr Pirotta was so inspirational, yet very down-to-earth. He generously shared the amazing journey he has made to become an author & his "secret formula" for how to write the BEST stories!! I was VERY proud of 4AG during this workshop session. They impressed Mr Pirotta with their knowledgeable & insightful comments. In fact some were so good he was keen to magpie some of THEIR ideas! A real compliment!

What an inspirational visit ! Saviour's visit made me realise that we all have a wealth of stories within us. We just need to let them free ! Well done Year 4 team and many thanks again to the Friends of Handsworth for enabling us to arrange the visit. I look forward to reading the stories.

What a fabulous opportunity for the children to listen to Mr. Pirotta. His stories were memorable and his advice was invaluable. Ethan has a renewed energy for his novels in progress. Thank you!
